How to Clean Your Tiara & Jewellery
Help Guide
Materials Used & Cleaning Instructions
At Bridalise all our tiaras and jewellery is hand-crafted with care and attention to detail. We use only the finest materials so that you can look your best on your big day.
Tiara & Jewellery Care Tips
Wait until you've finished applying your makeup, perfume or
hairspray before putting on your tiara and jewellery. These
products can dull the crystals and leave a film on them, which
will result in loss of sparkle.
After wearing, wipe down your tiara or jewellery with great care
with a lightly damp (water only) soft cloth or a lint free
polishing cloth. Never submerge in water
Keep your tiara and jewellery boxed, wrapped in acid free tissue
paper (your order is wrapped in acid free paper) and out of
sunlight. Do mix other jewellery with your bridal tiara and
jewellery
To help keep the sterling silver from tarnishing, keep your Jewellery
boxed away from other items and always keep black anti-tarnish
tab that was included with your order in the box at all times.
The anti-tarnish tab should be placed in the box with the
jewellery yet not directly touching the silver.
Materials
Swarovski Crystal: Swarovski crystal is considered to be the
finest quality lead crystal in the world. Due to it's precise
cut it sparkles much like a diamond. Daniel Swarovski
revolutionized the crystal industry when he patented the world’s
first crystal-cutting machine in 1892. Today Swarovski crystal
remains unmatched in it's quality and dazzling beauty.
Swarovski Faux Pearls: Swarovski pearls have a much higher
quality than synthetic glass pearls. Because leaded crystal
makes up the core of each bead, they have more weight, a lovely
shine similar to the lustre of natural pearls. They are
resistant to UV rays, scratches and washing.
Freshwater Pearls: Cultured pearls are from the oysters from
rivers and lakes. As the pearls develop in the oysters, many
layers of nacre form to give the pearls their brilliant shine.
Freshwater pearls tend to be more affordable than saltwater
pearls. We use Freshwater Pearls in our Couture Range.
Czech Bohemian Crystal: We have now added a new crystal to our
range Czech Crystal. It has the same cut as Swarovski and still
has a high quality sparkle, not as vivid as Swarovski but close.
The price tag is the difference! Great for brides who still want
a stunning sparkly tiara but do not have the budget for
Swarovski Crystal
Comfort Bands: All our tiaras made using non tarnish comfort
bands available in gold or silver
Sterling Silver: All of our clasps, earring studs and wires are
made with "925" sterling silver metal unless otherwise stated.
